It may sound sacrilegious but having experienced both this ABB lineup is far better than the original. imho

Berry couldn't touch Otiel. Warren and Derek are far better musicians than Dicky and Duane. Marc QuiƱones on percussion adds a whole different dimension to the music.

Just one guys opinion.

But not as full of raw emotion as the original ABB, more polished. I love both versions of this band. Do miss the Betts songs, that was a great component, gave them more diversity by having some country and jazz stylings with him.

I caught Dicky a couple of years ago at a small out door venue. It took him a while to get going but he can still cook!
